For retinoids like retinol and retinaldehyde, applying Deliverance before or after retinol is fine.For prescription retinoids like tretinoin, we recommend using Deliverance in the morning, when you're not using tretinoin, to start. After about a week or 2, you can use Deliverance twice a day by applying tretinoin as your prescription states and following with Deliverance. A reminder, most prescriptions advise applying tretinoin to dry skin at night.We always recommend incorporating new products one at a time, low and slow, and patch testing. This especially applies when combining active ingredients, like niacinamide, with prescription-strength topicals.
